Coin Volcano is not a classic slot with steady small wins. It is built around the Hold and Win bonus, so the base game mainly aims to start it. The bonus has a clear trigger: three special symbols must land on the middle row in a single spin. The game also has two bonus buy options, so you can enter the bonus right away.

Pros

  • Hold and Win bonus
  • Fixed jackpots
  • Bonus buy option
  • Autoplay

Cons

  • No base wins
  • No wild symbols
  • No scatter symbols
  • Max win is capped

Expect many spins with no payout, then a bonus round that decides the result. In demo mode, watch how often the bonus starts and how the grid fills.

Base Rules and Symbols

Coin Volcano doesn't play like a traditional payline slot. There are no standard pay symbols, so the base game doesn't produce regular payouts on its own. Instead, the main goal is to land the special symbol pattern on the middle row and trigger the Bonus Game (or Ultra Bonus Game), where the win is determined.

Hold and Win Trigger

The trigger rule is simple: land three special symbols on the middle row in a single spin, and the game starts the Bonus Game. After the trigger, the grid locks and you get respins. Each time a new bonus symbol lands, the respin counter resets. If no new symbols land and the counter runs out, the bonus ends and you collect what is on the grid.

Bonus Symbols and Jackpots

Coin Volcano has no normal pay symbols. Money comes from bonus symbols and jackpot symbols. Most of them matter inside Bonus Game and Ultra Bonus Game, not in the base game.

Coin prizes and jackpot symbols

In the bonus, coin symbols can land with a prize value. The rules screen lists coin prizes from 1x to 4x total bet. Jackpot symbols can also land in the bonus and pay fixed jackpots:

  • Mini: 10x
  • Minor: 20x
  • Major: 50x

The Grand jackpot is 500x total bet. It drops when the bonus ends and the total win is counted. The rules say you get Grand when you collect all 9 symbols of any type during the bonus.

Coin Collect

Coin Collect gathers all coin and jackpot prizes from the grid right away. If lava multipliers hit prizes, the multiplier applies before the collect. After it lands, Coin Collect stays on the grid until the end of the bonus.

Sticky Coin

Sticky Coin can appear in the main game and stay stuck until Bonus Game or Ultra Bonus Game starts. Sticky Coin prizes are 5x to 9x total bet. A Sticky Coin in the middle row does not raise the chance of a bonus start. If you change the bet and spin, the current Sticky Coin symbols get removed.

Mystery and Mystery Jackpot

Mystery symbol can turn into any other symbol, except Sticky Coin. Mystery Jackpot can only turn into Mini, Minor, or Major jackpot symbols. Both open one by one at the end of Bonus Game or Ultra Bonus Game.

Volcano multipliers

Volcano multipliers can happen during Bonus Game or Ultra Bonus Game. The volcano shoots 1 to 9 lava multipliers at random grid spots. If several lava hits land on the same spot, the multiplier value goes up. Multipliers increase the value of the symbols they hit, and the boosted values are included in your bonus payout.

Ultra Bonus Game

Ultra Bonus Game is a version of the bonus that can trigger at random during the main game. At the start of Ultra Bonus Game, Volcano multipliers are guaranteed. The rules also say the chance to get Volcano multipliers again is higher in Ultra Bonus Game.
